Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This privacy policy explains what information AlphaTaxCalc ("we", "us") collects when you use www.alphataxcalc.com and how it is used.

Information you enter in calculators

Salary, income and other figures you enter are processed only in your browser. They are not sent to our servers and we do not store them.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider may log basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and the time of the visit. We use this only to keep the site secure and working.

Cookies and advertising

We use Google AdSense to show advertisements. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" in the footer. If you decline, you may still see non-personalised ads.

Analytics

We may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. It uses cookies to collect anonymous usage data. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them.

Contact form and email

If you email us, we use your name, email address and message only to reply. We do not sell or share this information.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, or to delete it, by emailing info@alphataxcalc.com.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.

Summary in plain words

We've tried to keep this policy readable. The short version: we don't see the numbers you type into our calculators. We show ads through Google, which uses cookies. You can say no to personalised ads, and the site still works fully if you do.

Who we are

This website is operated by Alphas Inc, Pakistan. For anything related to privacy, you can reach us at info@alphataxcalc.com or +92 305 8175285.

Legal basis for processing

Where data protection law applies to you, we rely on your consent for advertising and analytics cookies, and on our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and working for basic server logs. You can withdraw consent at any time through Cookie settings.

Data stored in your browser

We save one small item in your browser's local storage to remember your cookie choice, so the banner doesn't appear on every page. It contains only the word "granted" or "denied". You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

Third parties we work with

  • Google AdSense, to show advertisements.
  • Google Analytics (if enabled), to count visits and see which pages are useful.
  • Our hosting provider, which stores the website files and keeps standard server logs.

Each of these companies has its own privacy policy. We don't sell personal information to anyone, and we don't share it with anyone beyond what's described here.

How long we keep information

Emails you send us are kept for as long as needed to deal with your message and then for up to two years for reference, after which we delete them. Server logs are kept by our host for a limited period for security purposes.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, which encrypts the connection between your browser and our server. Because calculator figures never leave your device, there's nothing for us to lose in a data breach.

Links to other websites

Our guides link to FBR and other sites. Once you leave AlphaTaxCalc, this policy no longer applies, so check the privacy policy of the site you're visiting.

Children's and sensitive data

We never ask for CNIC numbers, IRIS credentials, bank details or other sensitive personal data, and we ask you not to send them to us. If you do, we'll delete them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, for example by adding a new analytics tool, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will also be mentioned on the home page for a while.

Your choices at a glance

  • Decline cookies on the banner, or later through Cookie settings in the footer.
  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
  • Use your browser's private mode, which clears everything when you close it.
